Thanks darling!
I would say my hair is a type 4c. Which means no curl pattern, though I have some coily sections here and there. I get my curl definition from twist/braid outs. No wash and go’s over here. I’ve notice that my hair holds the most definition when its been moisturized properly. I don’t use any products that have hold in them. Though I did use Miss Jessie products when I first BC and they worked for curl definition.
So to recap water and a moisturizer(using Shea Moisture’s Curl Enhancing Smoothie at present) then I braid or twist my hair down. Once dry voila!
Hope this helps!
What I’ve noticed about having long hair this week: It gets more looks then short hair. Sure there are some men who like short hair but alot like it long. It’s annoying. Like “Really sir I walk down this block all the time? Your just now noticing me because of the braids cascading down my back? Go sit down, there coming out next month…fool”
That is all.

Last night I went to sleep(read: passed the hell out after 15 hours of braiding) with my hair down. The weight of it almost dragged me off the bed in the morning. HA! Hello high bun and night night world.

I promise to take some better photo’s in the morning with an actually camera(this was taken with my webcam) in better lighting!!

Just wanted to show you gals how I’ve been styling my hair for the past couple of days. I roll and pin up the back sweep up the sides then roll and pin the front. It takes 5 minute’s to do in the morning and I love it!

I hate it!! But I didn’t realized until last year that not everyone thinks of it as a negative word. Some people have no problem describing there hair as Nappy. But I think that unlike the other N-word you can use nappy in either a positive on a negative way depending on what you saying.
Last night my dad’s fiance came over for dinner. We’d been waiting a couple hours for her to show up. When she finally arrived, she seemed really relaxed for a person who’s rather tardy. She made it clear right off the bat that she’d just gotten a “fresh relaxer”. “My hair was starting to look…
I made it out to the natural hair meet up in NYC’s Bryant Park. It was fun, and I scored some new products and a whole bunce of samples from Shea Moisture. Hope some of you made it oout there but fyi if you didn’t: They will be doing 3 full size products for $20 until January 8th!
Anywho I’ll do a video or post talking about the products I got once I use them!
